Whooo am i?

I’m Chrissy Deal, a strategic communications consultant based in North Carolina.

Growing up in south Georgia, the daughter of a biology teacher and an engineer, somehow I took a completely different path — first to Mercer University, where I studied art, communications and photography; then to the Triangle area of North Carolina, where I’ve established a respected career as a PR specialist and creative designer.

Along the way I designed logos for nonprofits and small businesses; spoke for elected leaders and government organizations; became the personality behind all of the robo-calls for a local school system; started a wine blog; and designed newsletters, websites and marketing collateral for a whole host of enterprises.

I also got married, divorced, remarried, had a couple of dogs, a kid, two houses and a few cars. Traveled the country and the world, drank a lot of good wine, remodeled my kitchen and cooked some crazy-good food in it. I’m still doing those last things (except for the remodeling part), with my teenage son, my sommelier/restaurateur husband, and our fluffy black dog.
